G5 Weekend Report

We had a great weekend.  Mommy got a little time to have fun too, as you saw from my last post.  My friend Natalie that was in the pic below posted some pics of me to Facebook from 11 years ago that I had forgotten we had taken.  Hilarious!  I will grab them and post them later when I get a chance.  That happens to be my new addiction, so if you are on Facebook, friend request Shanna Grimes.  I have reconnected with a lot of my high school friends and it has felt like going to a reunion, but better, because I can reconnect with old friends in my PJ's!  It's like new toy syndrome.  I am just trying to learn all I can about the interface.  They have a cool iphone mobile app, which also makes it easier to play with.  

As you can see from my side bar, I am on last.fm now too.  What a cool idea!!!  My husband got me and Sharon (a.k.a. Mama Skates) in to it.  It's fun to see what other friends have on their playlists and listen to their "stations".  

Ok, on to the good stuff.  I took the kids on a picnic to Hilltop Park this Saturday.  We had so much fun.  We stayed all afternoon, but just as I was packing up I hurt my knee.  I don't know what I did to it, but it seems to be doing better now.  I got some great pics of the kids.  It was such a nice day.  It was the first whole day it actually felt like fall.

Sunday we had a play date with Ethan's friend Ben @ Superplay. What a neat place! It was great for the little ones. Javi was a little too big for it, but I think we may switch our membership from Kidsville to Superplay. They had more things for Kaylee and it really encouraged her to play and walk. It's the type of place I can take her in her walker too. They have a lot of toys that are like "therapy toys". Jumpee's, swings, trampoline, step 2 baby roller coaster, etc. It's great for Ethan too. He had a lot of fun with Ben. Here's a few pics we took there.
