Milestones for Kay

Seeing a post from Danielle about Trev's milestone made me think to post about Kay.

Kaylee started giving high fives yesterday. She also started standing and balancing holding on to something. We have to prop her up, but she will hold on and stand there for a few minutes. She also managed to stay in a crawler position when I stuck her on the floor on Friday. It seems like she is becoming a little girl over night. She's getting so big. I can't believe the time has gone by so fast!! Sometimes I just want to hit the reset button, of course we could do with out the seizures, hospital visits and ACTH. The one good thing about all of it is we have met some really nice people that we would probably never would have met otherwise. Everything happens for a reason, I guess :)

That's SO awesome, Shanna!

It's funny how much these *little* things mean! I don't know about you...but it's much easier to not take Trevy's stuff for granted!

Yes, I agree. It's not only because she is our last, but also because of the IS and seizures. It's like a miracle because we thought originally the outcome would be grim. We know we aren't totally out of the woods, but the further she gets in her development the more confident we feel.

After seeing what Kaylee went through last fall, I think it is a miracle she is doing so well. Keep up the good work, Kaylee.
Love you,
GG

Thanks Mom! We are really proud of her progress. I can't take all the credit. She has worked hard and she has had the help of a good therapist, doctors, nurses, and friends. It takes a village...
